5K Fridays with Friends
As an alumnus of the School of Motion I was excited to participate in their 2021 Holiday Card. The theme was “This year I am thankful for…”. I immediately thought of the weekly run around Green Lake in Seattle that I do with two very good friends of mine.
I began with reference, which became sketches, which became illustrations.
I rigged the characters using Duik Bassel.
Nailing the running was a lot more challenging than expected. My first test went something like this…
